This will allow you to access the logs within your Moodle site. Logs in Moodle are activity reports, which are available at site and course level. You can use the live logs to interrogate and monitor individual interactions within the LMS.
Step 1. Login as an administrator and select Administration
Step 2. Select Site Administration
Step 3. Select Reports tab
Logs
Step 1. Complete steps 1-3
Step 2. Select Logs
Step 3. From the drop down boxes configure the filters that you would like to view logs for.
Step 4. Select Get these logs
You will now get a list of all the logs that match the parameters that you have set
To export these logs -
Step 5. Scroll to the bottom of the screen
Step 6. Select your desired file type from the drop down list and select Download.
Step 7. Select Download
The logs will now download and can be found in the downloads folder of your computer.
Live Logs
Step 1. Complete steps 1-3
Step 2. Select Live Logs
Here you can see the logs from the last 60 seconds. These logs will update every 60 seconds (if the page doesn’t refresh automatically, please refresh your browser to view updated live logs)
