This will give a user the non-editing teacher role. This is done at a course level, you will need to give this role to the user in each course that you wish for them to obtain the role non-editing teacher role for.
Step 1. Enter the course that you wish to give a user non-editing teacher permissions for.
Step 2. Select the COG icon from the top right hand corner of the course page
Step 3. From the drop down list, select More…
Step 4. Select the Users tab
Step 5. Scroll down to find the Users category
Step 6. Select Enrolled users
Step 7. From the list of users, find the user that you wish to assign the non-editing teacher role too.
Step 8. Select the pen icon, located under the Roles column.
Step 9. Start typing the name of the role or click on the arrow to expose the available roles.
Step 10. From the drop down list that emerges once you start typing, select the role. This will assign the role to the chosen user.
Step 11. To save the role assignment, click on the floppy disk icon.
The role has now been assigned
This user will now be able to access the role features within the course administration, within courses where they have been assigned to them.
