The enrolment reminder notification can be enabled to inform users that their enrolment is about to expire. This will only work if the enrolment has an expiry date, this will not work for unlimited enrolments.
The manual enrolment and self-enrolment, enrolment methods have this functionality.
Step 1. Login as an administrator and select Administration
Step 2. Select Site administration
Step 3. Select Plugins tab
Step 4. Scroll down to find Enrolments
Step 5. Select the enrolment method in which you’d like to enable enrolment expiry reminders for.
Step 6. Scroll down to find Notify before enrolment expires and Notification threshold.
Step 7. Enable Notify before enrolment expires. From the drop down, select from the following options.

Step 8. Select how far in advance of the enrolment expiration that the notification will be sent out. Type the number in the text box and select the time period from the drop down list.
Step 9. Scroll to the bottom of the page and select Save changes.
The enroller and users, if selected will now receive enrolment notifications.
