Step 1. Login as administrator.
Step 2. Click Site Administration
Step 3. Click Language Customisation.
Step 4. Choose the relevant language pack that needs to customised.
Step 5. Click Open Language pack for editing
Step 6. Click continue.
Step 7. Select the right component / components from the “Show strings of these components”. If you are not aware of the component, you can select all the components by clicking Cmd + A / Ctrl + A.
Step 8.With the three available options, you can filter the results accordingly.

Step 9. “Only strings containing” field can be used to filter strings that will only contain the entered text.
For eg: To change the welcome email that contains the text “A new account has been created for you at” you can enter the “A new account has been” into the “Only strings containing” text field.
Step 10. “String Identifier” field can be used to enter the string identifier if you are aware of the identifier.
For eg. Changing the welcome email string identifier is “newusernewpasswordtext”.
Step 11. Click Show strings
Step 12. From the filtered results, narrow down on the targeted string and enter the new text in the “Local customisation” text box.
Make sure that the placeholders like {$a} or {$a->username} are not altered and it must be copied the way it is replaced with a corresponding value when executed.
Step 13. Click Apply changes and continue editing / Save changes to the language pack.
