Guest Access must be turned on at Site-Level to have individual courses available to guests if required. To turn on Guest access for the site :
Please note that a user will be able to log in as a guest only by using the Guest credentials which is
Step 1. Log in as Site Administrator and click “Site Administration”
Step 2. Click “Plugins”
Step 3. Click “Authentication”
Step 4. Under Common Settings section turn on “Guest Login button”. Select Show from the drop-down list box. This means that Guest access is enabled in the site.
Users will be able to log in as a guest using the below credentials
To enable Guest access for a course :
You can also allow certain courses to be available for “guests” who will be able to see the contents of the course but will not be able to attend any activities within the course.
To turn on Guest access for a course.
Step 1. Enter the relevant course.
Step 2. Click the “Cog” on the right-hand side
Step 3. Select “More”
Step 4. Click the “Users” tab
Step 5. Click “Enrolment methods”
Step 6. Click the “Eye” icon that corresponds to Guest access.
Guest users will now be able to see the course without participating in activities.
