The Grade-Me plugin allows the teacher to view assignments and manual quiz questions (essays and file responses) that have been submitted, but not graded.
The block is configured to work with groups (i.e.), teachers will only see the assignments submitted by students if they are both members of the same group.
Key Points
- Make sure you have the Grade-Me plugin installed before you begin to set up the plugin.
- The course should have groups set up and each group should have a teacher.
- Teachers will only see assignments submitted by students in their groups once the block is set up and configured.
Step 1. Log in as Site Administrator
Step 2. Click Site Administration
Step 3. Click Blocks Editing On
Step 4. Type “Default Dashboard” and click “Search”
Step 5. Click “Default Dashboard page” from the search results.
Step 6. You will now be redirected to the default dashboard page
Step 7. Click “Add a Block”
Step 8. Select “Grade me” plugin from the list
Step 9. The “Grade me” block will now appear.
Step 10. Clicking on the cog icon of the “Grade me” plugin will give you a set of options in a list box to configure the plugin.
Step 11. Click “Reset Dashboard for all users”. This will allow the Grade-me plugin to be available to all the users.
FYI, When you click “Reset Dashboard for all users”, the dashboard will be reset for all the users and if a user has a customized home dashboard it will be reset to the newly created one.
Step 12. The Grade me plugin will now display all the list of assessments that is available to mark.
