The Reengagement plugin allows the periodical release of notifications emails to users to remind them to complete course activities. It provides a way for you to remind students to return to the course and complete activities. You can also use this plugin to selectively release timed content in a course.
Please make sure that you have the relevant permissions to edit a course and that the plugin is installed on your LMS before you follow the steps below to setup.
Step 1. Enter the relevant course
Step 2. Click the Cog on the right-hand side
Step 3. Click “Turn Editing On”
Step 4. Click “Add activity or resource”
Step 5. Select “Reengagement plugin” from the list. This option will appear only is the plugin is installed on the LMS
Step 6. Click Add
You will now be redirected to the REenagagmet settings page with the following fields.

Give a name for the activity. This activity will not be visible to the students. |

Third-party recipients: |
Enter comma-separated third party email addresses who should be receiving the email when a user does |
Notification Delay: |
When the “Notify user” option is set to “After delay”, this option allows you to set the time period after which the user should receive an email. |
Reminder count |
This is the number of time the email is sent after the delay period. However, there is a limit as well 1. Less than 24 hours: Max 2 reminders 2. Less than 5 days: Max 10 reminders 3. Less than 15 days: Max 26 reminders 4. More than 15 days: Max 40 reminders |

Set an ID number for the activity if required. |
Restrict Access |
If you want to use the enrolment date then don't set up any access restrictions on this Re-engagement; each user's timer will start after they enrol in the course. If you want the delay to be based on a previous activity completion you should set that activity as an access restriction to this Reengagement activity; each user's timer will start after they complete the dependencies. Step 7. One the settings are configured, click Save
Step 8. Reengagement activity is now added to your course.
