Step 1. Select the Administration button, this will expand the administration sub-menu
Step 2. Select Site Administration
Step 3. Select the Plugins tab
Step 4 Scroll down and locate Blocks from the Plugins tab
Step 5 Select the My Course (Home)
Step 6 My Course (Home) configuration
|Default Maximum Courses||
The administrators is able to configure the maximum number of courses which ought to be displayed on my courses block' Entering the value of 0 will show all courses
|Default Course Image||
The default course image will display the image the administrator selects but is replaced if an image is selected at the course level
|Summary Character Limit||
Administrators are able to limit the number of characters that display as course summaries on the users home page
|Start as Grid||
The users home page will display courses in grid format if default is applied otherwise the courses will display in list format
|Select default Drop-Down||
Five options are available to select from as the default display on the users home page
|Show popular Courses||
To display Popular courses enable this field. If this field is not enabled but Popular Course was selected from the drop down menu, a blank page will appear. Popular courses must be tagged for those courses to appear.
|Select featured course Tag||
For popular courses to appear, they must be tagged when courses are being created (eg Popular Course).
|Show enrolled Courses||
Students that are enrolled in courses will be displayed if enabled.
|Show course Catalogue||
Students will be able to view the course catalogue if enabled.
|Show completed Courses||
Students will be able to view the courses that have been completed if enabled.
|Show enrolled Programs||
Students will be able to view the Programs that have been enrolled in if enabled.
|Use catalogue to show course Categories||
Administrators are able to use the catalogue to show course Categories if disabled.
Step 6 Select Save Changes
