How to Create Course Competencies
Course competencies signify that students have demonstrated that they have learned the knowledge and skills they are expected to learn as they progress through to a new course. These can easily be setup at the course level.
Step 1. Select Courses from the Administration menu.
Step 2. Select a course from the menu.
Step 3. Select Competencies using the cog in the top right corner of the screen.
Step 4. Select Add Competencies to course
Step 5. Select the Competency framework.
Step 6. Select the Add button.
Step 7. Select one of the following from the field Upon course completion:
- Attach evidence
- Send for review
- Complete the competency
Step 8. In your course, select Competencies and from the drop down menu select the Course competencies and a value for Upon activity completion.
Step 9. Select one of the following options:
- Save and return to course
- Save and display
Competencies have now been added to your course.
