Category Restrictions allow you to specify conditions based on which users will be allowed permissions to view the categories and the courses within.
Please note that there can be only one rule for a category.
Step 1. Log in as Site Administrator and click Category Restriction
Step 2. Click “Add Rule”
Step 3. Enter the Rule Name
Step 4. Choose the category from the Course Category drop-down list
Step 5. “Meet ALL conditions” section allows you to add the conditions that are mandatory for the users to meet.
“Meet ANY conditions” allows you to add the conditions out of which any one condition or more must be met for the users to view the category
Step 6. To add a condition, click the plus icon
Step 7. Choose the conditional field from the fields drop-down box
Step 8. Choose the specifications of the conditions from the drop-down box.
Step 9. Enter the value to be compared in the text box
Step 10. Click Save.
