Enabling Self Enrolment using the Programs and Compliance feature
When setting up the Programs and Compliance training, part of the setup requires administrators to decide whether users can enrol themselves into the course or whether approval is required. If Self enrolment has been setup, then automated email settings need to be set up.
|Self enrolment is only available if it is being used with the All programs page in the My Courses (home) block. If not, this feature won't be available to users.|
|The Self enrolment option must be selected by Administrators for Programs to be able to be self enrolled by users.|
Step 1. Login as an admin user and select Site Administration
Step 2. Select the Plugins tab
Step 3. Scroll down the Plugin tab and find Local plugins and select the Learnbook Program
Step 4. There will be Three configurable email sections that can be configured.
|The Subject Line and the email text body can be configured to suit the organisations needs and requirements.|
- Enrolment request notification email body
- Enrolment request accepted notification email body
- Enrolment request rejected notification email body
Step 5. Enrolment request notification email body

Hi [[recipient_firstname]], [[recipient_lastname]],
You are receiving this email because your Org Unit Member [[requester_firstname]], [[requester_lastname]], has been requested you to enrol him/her into [[program_name]]. The date that the user requested is [[request_date]],
Please follow the link below to Approve or Reject the enrolment request,
Please do not reply to this email .....
Step 6. Enrolment request accepted notification email body

Hi [[requester_firstname]], [[requester_lastname]], Your request to [[program_name]], Requested on [[request_date]] has been approved on [[accepted_date]]
Step 7. Enrolment request rejected notification email body

Hi [[requester_firstname]], [[requester_lastname]], Your request to [[program_name]], Requested on [[request_date]] has been rejected on [[rejected_date]]
Please check with Administration to see if you are able to try again in six months time.
Step 8. Select the Save changes button at the bottom of the page
The User will now have access to the Request enrolment button and the emails that have been setup can be used to either notify, accept or reject course applications.
