Skills Setup
Step 1. Select Site Administration
Step 2. Select Plugins
Step 3. Select Blocks
Step 4. Select Learnbook Profile
Step 5. Select One of the following options for each field
Enable skills tab | Enable or disable skills tab. |
Hide Program column | Show or hide the Program column |
Hide Authority column | Show or hide the Authority column. |
View Expired Skills | View or hide expired programs in the user dashboard. |
Add a Skill
Step 1. Select Skills
Step 2 Select the Create Skills icon
Step 3 Enter the Skills details and then select the Create button
Skill name | Enter the name of the skill or select a name from the drop down list |
Description | Add a description to the skill |
Add a code to the skill | |
CPD points | Add CPD points to the skill |
Enter a valid date from when the skill commences | |
Enter a valid date till the skill expires | |
Select either Yes or No if the skill is assignable | |
Select either Yes or No if the skill is deprecated |
Displayed in the Skill menu will be the following information. Skill Name, Code, Valid Till, Assignable, Deprecated and Local Skill.
Edit a Skill
Step 1. Select Skills
Step 2. Select the Edit elements button.

Only Skills that have been added locally will be available for the administrator to edit. The skills that have not been created locally will be missing the Edit element button. |
Step 3. Update the details of the Skill and select the Update button.
Delete a Skill
Step 1. Select Skills
Step 2. Select the Delete button next to the Skill to be deleted

Skills that are deleted are not able to be retrieved once the Delete button has been activated. All Data associated with the Skill will be deleted. |
Step 3. Confirm the Deletion of the Skill
